Budget varmint ammo .223?

Fiocchi with the vmax never did me wrong. I use it in my mk12 clone for ground hogs and crows. Does the job accurately and you cant beat the devastation that a vmax does on the little fuckers

This stuff is $0.50 fwiw

The best I've ever used is the old black box Federal AR tipped varmint, it was really accurate in everything I shot it from. The new stuff is still really good too though. The Federal varmint and predator has also been accurate in everything I've shot it from and performs well on critters too. The Fiocchi is also a good choice.

Never tried the Australian Outback but its tempting for those prices.

You and me both. That tipped varmint stuff was awesome and cheap. And accurate.
Ordered some Fiocchi and AOB. Will report back on accuracy and velocity spreads etc.

That Fed 50 tipped AE stuff was hard to beat, I bought 8,000 rounds of it when PSA had it for under $5 a box shipped, still have probably 4k rounds left. It seems to shoot MOA or better in about any gun.

PSA was selling 600 rounds of Fed "Black Box" Black Friday leftovers last week at +\- $160 earlier this week.

I ordered a case, arrived at my sisters yesterday, will use it in a class at Sig.
