The only people that drink bud light and similar beers still control each others behaviors by bullying. People that drink bud light will never drink bud light again. Not because of the politics, but because their bros will mercilessly drag them for it. The threat of that will keep most of the domestic light lager drinkers far away until the end of time. Back when I drank beer(years ago ) I drank bud light, or lone star light light , but nothing but bourbon now and an occasional margarita , my best friend still drinks bud light but he also got the jab so he is a non believer to begin with, he was giving me grief about not getting the jab , I told him I didn't take medical advice from someone who smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day , 5 months ago he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, that was a wakeup call for him .

That is something of an inside joke that goes back many, many decades. I was roughly in the 5th grade and we were all kinda joking around in the infield at Little League tryouts, waiting for a batter to come up. The then current advertising campaign for (the now long defunct, JAX beer was, ”Its got that Real Beer Taste”. We were not immune to seeing television commercials and beer and cigarettes were two of the largest advertisers of the time.
Well, we were joking around and some one mentioned something about piss. And another fellow right next, immediately chimed in, “Its got that real beer taste.” Which of course cracked everyone in earshot up. Being pre teen kids, we were kind a silly.
Jax was a New Orleans brand which I understand was rather harsh tasting, but not being a beer drinker, I just have to take other’s word’s.

Drinking beer is pretty much a process of elimination for me...
My list actually consists of ones that I won't drink ever again... With Corona being at the top of that list. That shit tastes like a wet dog smells. I'm still pissed at my buddy who talked me into trying it.
When I get a hankering for a beer (once every other year) my go-to is usually the Silver Bullet... Is it the best? I don't know, I doubt it. But it is consistently "not too bad" enough that I feel safe choosing it again.
Liquor is my preferred method of coping with unresolved issues.
