That's why I hated the hand sanitizer bullshit during covid, not to mention all the antibacterial garbage in soaps and such. Get some damn dirt under your nails and build a healthy immune system. All that other shit does is weaken it.
funny part about anti bacterial soap...

look at a soap dispenser with regular "dawn"
look at a soap dispenser with "anti bacterial soap"

with in a few months the anti bacterial soap dispenser will have a slight brown/mold on the tip, while "dawn" will not

thats not to say that anti bacterial soap doesnt have some good qualities but its not bleach

posted this during covid:

navy did a study in the early 2000's (around then) about the "puke bug" and how fast it can take a entire ship down/ combat effectiveness

they tried every soap, water temp etc...was a real study

during the studies they were testing the waste water for results...the virus' were still "alive"

study showed that the most effective way to remove bacteria and virus from a surface is mechanical scrubbing (rubbing hands together), and high volume of water

the old sing happy birthday while washing your hands under water is still the most effective to remove contaminants from your skin

of course that is not using products like carb cleaner which are harmful for you etc

Besides it's not like bugs will be presented in the raw.

Nah, they will process said bugs in an attempt to make it familiar. So like bugburger, put the bug paste into a bug paste mold and you form bugsteak, anyone up for a bugdog this 4th of July weekend? Just take the same bug paste, pipe it into a soy based casing...easy, peasy..

And, well after all, if you throw enough seasoning at it...who's to know the difference?
