Well, a gingerbread house anyways. Wife and I thought we would try our hand at a gingerbread house for a local Christmas competition at a local theater. Turned out pretty good. Wife ixnayed my shooting range and varmint field...oh well.

Started off with a rough cut out of the design using foam board.

Then, onto the gingerbread baking (dough eating...duh):

Mistletoe, for nookie of course!

A few lifesavers wreaths.

Everything you see is eatable. With the exception of the tin foil and the 1/2" plywood, the entire construction project was eatable.

Took 4 whole days to complete, including baking and air drying the cooked house parts. A little icing (stuff is thick and dries hard as a rock), some caramel cubes, some spice drops, a few candy canes, a few HEAVY DUTY candy cane sticks, and a little patience.

Time for the nookie!
