Rifle Scopes Burris RT-6 Kit, mount and all??

Do any of you have this setup and if so what do you think of it.
I was thinking about getting one for one of my seldom used ARs but if there is something better out there near that price point that may interest me too.

I seldom shoot ARs but they are kind of fun once in a while. Thank you for any input. FM

It's a fantastic value.

I got the 1.5-8 XTRII package with the PEPR mount and tube mounted Fastfire III and have always had a lot of fun with it.

The RT6 is the most solid LPVO in its price point.

I’ve got just the plain RT-6 and damn it’s heavy. Built like a tank and holds zero. The illumination works great both in day and night.

I must not be the only one that thought this was maybe cool.

There's tons of them. Burris sells a lot of those combos.

This just isnt the forum where people discuss LPVOs very much. Not like AR forums.

Birddog, I understand. As I put in my OP this is a seldom shot rifle, my main interest is long range.
I am not a member of AFRCOM and would never fit in over there so I put my question in here.
I figured there would be a Boomer/Fudd or 2 on here that had hands on experience with them and got enough of a response that I did order one.
It was a bit hard to find someone who had it in stock. Such is the way of a lot of things during this flu thing.
I run Burris on almost all of my rifles as I have had good luck with them and they are local to me and I have received very good service from them in the past on the rare occasion it was needed.

The RT-6 is 17.4 ounces. Hardly heavy for an LPVO.

That’s what the specs say. I’d put it more in the 22-24 oz range.

Just weighed mine with the throw lever...exactly 18 ounces. You sure you are talking about a Burris?
