Rifle Scopes Burris Warranty Work?

Does anyone have any current information regarding tunraround time for Burris warranty work? I just unboxed my new XTRII 5-25 and found that the focus knob is very difficult to turn and has "play" (i.e., when you change directions, it does nothing for the first 1/16 of a turn or so). Alos curious if anyone else has experienced this issue?

I've sent a scope to burris, they sent me a new one in a few days ... otherwise, they resolved my questions over the phone ... burris CS gets +++ rating from me so far ...
 
Just a follow-up in case anyone else has this issue. I contacted Burris and they asked what my torque I used on my front ring screws. Since I did not have a torque wrench I didn't know. They said that they should be 20 in/lbs and anything over that could cause this problem. To tell the truth, I thought this was just their way of blowing me off but I bought a Fix it Sticks miniature torque limiter, backed each screw off and re-tightened to the recommended torque.....and what do you know - problem solved!

I bought an XTRII here on the Hide. Mounted it up and realized the reticle isn’t plumb with the turrets. Only one can be level. I guess I have to send it to Burris. They quoted me 4-6 weeks for warranty.. does that sound right??
