Hey guys looking to do some mods to my Bushmaster 450, looking to change out the stock for a collapsable stock. Been looking at the Magpuls, Vltor and a couple Rock River Arms stocks. Also want to change out the Forearm grip. It's a free float barrel been looking at a few from Yankee Hill. Any suggestions? Any pics of your mods.?

Thanks

If you are wanting a good recoil pad then MDT makes a really soft one that is a direct bolt on for magpul stocks. I bought mine from Brownells for my 243 wssm ar15.

Rifle or Carbine?

I've had all the parts to mod my 16" 458 SOCOM for over 2 years or more. I've allowed other things to get in the way of finishing it
along with the fear of messing with Marty ter Weeme's majiks on that particular upper. BUTT!!!

Changes from original to new parts:

DPMS Lo Pro upper receiver - VLTOR w/FA & modified ejection port, by Paladin Tool, so that the dust cover still locks

DPMS FF-01 hand guard - ARMALITE Carbine FF hg

DPMS GB-4R gas block - JP Enterprises JPGS-3 adj. w/tube

Colt AR-15 bolt carrier - BCM FA bolt carrier {changed out first thing}

Standard carbine buffer - MGI rate reducing buffer {changed out second thang}

A1 Stock - MagPul UBR

BTW, rubicon06on33s!!! Thanks for the heads up on the MDT info.
