I've got one of the 3-12s mounted and in playing with it I've found that 200 yds = infinity on the parallax adjustment/focus. Has anyone else played with one, do you notice this?

It seems to run out of focus a bit to soon. The picture isn't blurry or anything, but compared to the other scopes I've used it seems like it lacks a little in adjustment. I haven't tried it out at 300 to 600 yet, planning to just haven't had the time.

Re: Bushnell 3-12 FFP parallax question

The hash marks on the parallax knobs on both my 3-12's are nearly spot-on when it comes to producing a parallax-free view at the indicated range on the knob. They're maybe off the width of the line or a little less than that.

If the lines on the knob don't line up with the actual range I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you can adjust the knob to achieve an in-focus and parallax free image. If things are blurry or the reticle moves on the target no matter the setting of the parallax knob I think I'd call Bushnell to send it in.

It's not that they don't line up, I never look, probably couldn't read them w/o glasses anyway. The question/problem is that mine hits the infinity stop when focusing on a target at 200 yds. That's pretty close for infinity.

Just used one this weekend for a 3 day class. Targets anywhere from 100-500 yards. I didnt look at the exact parallax setting, but I didnt have any trouble focusing on targets.
