I bought a Bushnell AR/223 scope with 4.5-18x40mm zoom. It is crystal clear with very good contrast. At 18 power while I was sighting it in I could easily see the bullet holes at 100 yds. The turret clicks are audible and just as accurate as my Vortex 6-24 PST FFP MOA scope. It always returns to any elevation I adjust it to. Also the parallax adjustment turret is spot on for all the distances.
I used Warne Ultra High QD aluminum 1" rings. They give me the right cheek weld (for me). They measure 1.5" from the top of the Picatinny rail to the center of the scope tube. They are very light, strong and look good too.
