I’m looking for a combo hunting gun/gas gun scope that’ll get swapped around a bit.

Anyone play with the 3-12 version of this optic? I had a bushnell XRS years ago and had a bunch of problems so haven’t looked at them since.

3-12x44 is a good scope and there are some good deals on it right now. I think Doug at CameraLand has some sort of a special going.

First gen XRS was not my favourite scope, but LRTSi designs seem to work quite well. At regular price, there are other options to look at, I think, but under $1k where Doug has it these are very compelling. If you go for it, I suggest picking up the illuminated version.

I have one on my hunting rig. Great scope, even at MAP, but they can nearly always be found much cheaper. I’ve had several of the LRHS/LRTS scopes. They track and return to zero correctly and the glass is well above their price point. The most scope for the $ out there by my reckoning.

I recently got a 3-12 from Cameraland and am extremely happy with it. Glass is good, tracking is good and the G3 is probably now my favorite reticle for a hunting rifle. if they still have the sale on open box models you cant beat the price either.

I have one on an SPR-ish build. I paid just shy of $1k a year and a half ago and don't feel like I over paid. At $699 it has been ridiculously tempting for me to get a second one.

I have 3 of the 3-12 LRTSIs. One on an accurized M14, one on an older .308 of mine (R700, Benchmark barrel, KRG Bravo) and one currently on my .223 that is gonna go on a 6.5 Creed AR-10 I’m putting together. They all track and rtz perfectly. The illuminated reticle is great and the scopes are just all around tough and a great value.
