Looking for a 1-4X scope that I can quick mount on and off my DPMS AP4 (7.62x51). I have a Burris FastFire on it now that I love, but would like to have a less expensive 1-4X to pop for longer shots and shooting.

I am typically a Burris guy and have a Fullfiled Tacticle on my other DPMS 18B that has been excellent, and was looking at the Burris Tac30 1-4x when I saw the Bushnell XLT 1-4 on Midway.

Any opinions are which might be a better option? Don't see any reviews yet on the Bushnell.

There was another model they had awhile back, very similar. I saw a few people using them on ARs but not many. I would think for 3 gun you would want something with either a big, obvious reticle + holdovers or bright illumination.

I have heard of a newer burris 1-4 that some 3 gun people like, I forget the model but it has a holdover reticle and is 1-4 for 300bucks.

The Burris TAC30 1-4x is on backorder until 4/26 but only avail through Midway. I ordered mine 3/10 and have a tentative del date of 4/12. They are making and sending more though for sure, guess they sold pretty well. This will be my fourth Burris. Lifetime warranty and solid optics for the $, I've never had a problem.
