Buy a used 4.5x18 Bushnell or wait?

I want an optic with:
18x max mag
<50mm objective
Non busy mil tree reticle, preferably not super thick at the main cross hair, one of my reservations about the G3 reticle, have never looked at one in person.
Decent glass and tracking.
Under or just at 1k $.

I cannot think of a better scope for the price than the LRHS/LRTS series. But the G2H of the LRHS2 and even the G3 of the LRTS while thinner than G2 is still fairly thick.

Vortex PST II 3-15x44 is an excellent option with thinner reticle and Tract Toric 4-20 but slightly over your mag limit and price. But both of these may have reticles that are too busy for you, not sure what you consider busy though.

A Tremor or maybe H59 would be too busy, although Im sure I could use an H59 well, Ive never shot one though. I saw the new 4.5x18 LRHS that is/was being offered on GA's site but it appears the page is gone, also dont need the donut for what Im doing.

The non-illuminated G3 is pretty thin from the half mil mark to center. It can easily quarter a 1/2 MOA target.
