Science is only true until it's not. Many times in history science has changed. Science once said the earth is flat, science has said man can't fly and science has said if you are sick lets bleed you out a bit.
Science is always fact until the facts change. Then it's new science.
One final thought. These scientist's were all educated in the same schools that teach all the snowflakes. They can't even tell the difference between boys and girls. Science decides whatever those who pay for it, want it to decide.

I agree with you. Science is science until something happens and new science starts. I am not a scientist, nor do I claim to be the smartest person. I am just a simple mechanic and likes to read. Maybe this is why I take a simple approach to all of this climate change mania.
What baffles me with this climate science is the simple lack of any talk of previous periods of the climate changing. I see it that the climate is always changing on this planet. Supposedly during the dinosaur times the earth was hotter, more humid, swamps in a lot of areas, etc. Supposedly all the continents were one lump of land...then broke apart with violent earthquakes, magma flowing and creating more land and islands with water levels changing. Meteor strikes, volcanic activity and other factors affect the climate more than we ever can.
The Ice Age happened what 2.6 million years ago and lasted until about 12,000 years ago? We had a mini ice age in the late 1600's. There was "significant cooling" from the mid 1400's to mid 1500's. The way I see it is that we have been coming out of an Ice Age for a long time. We haven't been recording temperature or other climate related data for very long, yet the experts can predict what is going to happen. I call BS.

There were dry dusty times and times of heavy rains. We had a hole in the Ozone, then it turns out that it's a natural vent for the atmosphere. Ocean levels change frequently. An earthquake can happen in one part of the world and shift currents. A volcano can erupt and change how wind moves across the world which also affects the ocean and other things. Magically this is never mentioned. It's always "Climate Change caused this violent storm!"

You are dismissing what happens when you put the word "settled" in front of any topic open to discussion.
Its like a trump card that removes all First Amendment right to advocate for your point.
So if someone tells you "It is 'settled' science". You are done, discussion stops.
This is especially valuable when discussing law as in "Its 'settled' law".
Interesting thing is that no science or law appreciated by Conservatives is ever "settled". Anything and everything is open to interpretation and modification as long as proposed by the liberal/communist side.
A true scientist never deals in absolutes in most cases.
There are laws/constants but true science never assumes there is not more to learn.

Apparently that didn't scare people enough so they switched to Global Warming...
Now that it's proved a bust they are going with .... Climate Change.... since the climate is always changing in a 20,000 year cycle.
Then they go on about .... on record... And think that since they have maybe 200 years at the very best case of "accurate" records that somehow it means squat in a 20,000 year cycle.
Not to mention they purposely have left their "temperature reference points" in the way of large manmade heatsinks of huge cities where the heat is collected & radiated, rather than out way away from the cities where you can get an actual natural reading.
But I'm all with the "Climate" or "earth" whatever guys on reducing the human footprint.... I suggest to start with removing them and see how things go HA!

I find it interesting, that there are over 30+ climate models being pedaled around the world's governments...and only one actually tracks with actual temperature collections over the past decade or so. And it isn't our model.
Believe it or not (man, I used to like watching that show), the Russian model has been the only one that has tracked in parallel to actual data collection. And guess what, it doesn't predict a near term apocalyptic environmental crash. No, it predicts a gradual increase, and then decrease in temperature...you know, kind of like the one we can track geologically over the several hundred millennia.
Kind of like a hysterical woman, when I hear the folks talking doomsday global warning, I just want to issue a sharp slap to the face and say "Just. Stop.", "Take a deep breath", "Okay, now let's think about this logically."
Smdh...the only thing the current interpretation of global warming/climate change has done, is make a few people rich off the backs of everyone else.

From the rise of mankind in Africa, to it's "seat of power's" steady migration to the north (Alexandria, Athens, and Rome) as temps rose, and it's migration longitudinally as the temperature stabilized (Rome, UK, US, USSR), the climate has had a very telling effect (as well as demonstrated the length of time it involves) on human civilization. That being said, it takes time. More than enough time for mankind to adapt.
I will (however) point out, that we are due for a dramatic temperature drop (relatively speaking) if we compare this intraglacial period to those we can see geologically. And, that geographically speaking, China is the only major super power who's agricultural zone, as well as geopolitical boundaries, stretch north to south. Unlike the rest of us, who's agricultural zones tend to stretch east to west. Thank God for GMO grain; it may very well save our asses.

We think we have been having more storms because with the 24/7 news cycle now thats all these idiots talk about.

They have only “grown” since being observed by humans. That’s a tiny window to compare to since the earth has been much much warmer and more recently, much much colder.
Now, is the climate changing? Yes. Is man causing it? Maybe. But even if we are to the extent they proclaim. Their solutions and hypocrisy is what I take pause with.
