I believe Schmidt and Bender may list that as their L3, one of the hunting reticles. I was not aware it was offered in that model scope, but I could easily be wrong.

So the guy selling it was a scammer sent me a picture of a H59 after those. He was selling it for $2100 and can't keep his story straight thanks for the help guys. It's on Armslist so if you see it avoid it. However if some is selling a PM II MTC LT with a MSR Reticle or know someone who is let me know!

Looks exactly like their FD4 flashdot hunting reticle. The 5-25 PMII is not shown as available with this reticle. I googled the PN on the box and it does produce this scope with a P4 Fine reticle. However, the owner may have had S&B change the reticle as well.

I think you are right to avoid it if there is any question at all. Way to easy to get scammed trying to save just a few hundred dollars on a multi thousand dollar scope. Also, be extra careful of Armslist!

Unless it is face to face, I would avoid Armslist. Full of scammers. I usually ask pointed questions that only someone familiar with the euipment would know. I usually get BS answers like, "I am not really that familiar with ______ . Or, "show me a pic of the _____ from the left side." The fact that the box was ripped at the label, which would have the serial number is another clue. Also, look for stupid email addresses, like [email protected], and the scammer seldom gives you his name. Then come the payment terms....

I had a guy try to scam me on Amazon last week. His scope was a discontinued model, and he was asking 1/2 price, when I went to order, the instructions (on Amazon), said, "email first," then he took down the listing on Amazon, and send a bogus amazon looking email with instructions to buy an Amazon gift card to purchase. I reported the scam to Amazon.

This is exactly the sort of thing that makes me think twice about buying from a online stranger. I have worked to long and to hard to have some dirt bag rip me off. Reminds me of a time on liberty in PI. My buddy bought what he thought was a brand new sealed up in the box Sony camera. Got around the corner, opened it up. Turned out to be a box full of dirt. Back on board ship we talked about it and had a good laugh. My buddy didn't think it was so funny losing 400 bucks to a rip off artist. Save up and buy new.
