Buying ammo from Sportsman's Guide

Just a note to anyone doing the same...

I got 6 boxes of Federal Premium Gold Medal Match (was cheapest at Sportsman's Guide). Requested same lot, got 3 different lots, 2 boxes each. Called customer service, and they are clueless, except to say they don't take returns on ammo...

There is a cure for that - buy a full case like everyone else does that wants a lot match.

If your criteria for buying is the cheapest....

Yeah, I know, though I don't suppose that even buying a case at Sportsmans guide would get you the same lot. Next time I will try a different resource, I would have used ammoman, but he only had the 168gr and I wanted the 175's.

I'm a big fan of Sportsmans Guide, they're good on returns and even pay shipping-just returned a pair of Danners. Didn't know about their ammo policy.
