Cadex 375

As opposed to?

Toy wouldn’t want a production rifle w some stupid tight 1-7 or 1-8 for the rare guy trying to push a 450 grain w a 375

You choose what twist is going to suffice for 90% of your customers

Over spinning projos can cause several problems. Not a free lunch

AND, those bullets will be too long for the magazine, which is kinda the point of that rifle/chassis system. For example CE 425 LAZER has a 1.8” protrusion and the 375CT case length is 3.0”. So COAL ~ 4.8”. Cadex mag max is 4.625

I have 338375 and 50 BMG. Not trying to talk you out of anything, but a 338 especially an improved version with a long barrel will get you most of the way to 375 and it’s easier to shoot easier to suppress and easier on the pocketbook

But yeah, if you’re gonna make the next step up 375 is the way to go especially now that Peterson has the brass dialed and there are so many bullet options for it

Also, check out the Desert Tech rifle. They are superbly accurate and the cheapest way to get into it and then you’re not stuck with 375 you can buy a 50 bolt and barrel, if you wanna screw around with that and swap it out and still use the same scope. And other than the CADEX, they are one of the only magazine fed options, and their magazine has a very long overall internal length.

Just don’t expect your speeds to live up to all of the hype. Some of it yes all of it, no

You are limited to one brass manufacturer with that

I select my cartridges in part based on availability of brass from the best manufacturers and Lapua 338 brass is spectacular, but if you’re really trying to go to the distance…

What distance are you reaching for?

Something like this 30-inch 2050 yard target I set up today?

If @Shoots 700's has a 300 norma you could single feed a 37xc. I'm doing that out of an mrad. pushing 390 a tips at 2840 with h50bmg- single digit sd's. You could work up a load with n570 and get to 2980 if you want to pursue speed. Its a cheap option to get into .375
