Photos Cadex Defense Tremor 50 meets Vestals Customs .416 Barrett Match

Decided to use the Cadex Tremor 50 as a base platform for the .416 Barrett Match. Looks like it should be very close to the same fit as my Shadow .375. The barrel is a Bartlein 40" 1:8 twist w/ a T5 brake.

Found a really good load for the .416. 183 grains of VV 20N29 w/ the 550 laser. Saw too much pressure at 185. This was a 5 shot group from 100 yards this morning. I ended up swapping out the beast for a mil-xt 7-35 and the mount to the new mil adjustment ERA-TAC. Getting 35 mils of elevation w/ a 100 yard zero.

I think you should just give up!! No chance it will be a shooter...LOL Looks good and with the low recoil it will be easier to spot you own shots at range.

It is about30ish. My 375 with the same contour barrel is 29.4 without the bipod

Did you have vestals ream and headspace the chamber as well?
Also, why didn’t you go with a 1:7 twist?

On a serious note, did Vestals do the action/barrel work? They are going to do my structured barrel fit up and I hear they are fantastic!
