I am here for anyone interested in Cadex products. I am based in Northern Virginia, and happy to help. I am a longtime shooter and enthusiast, and recently opened a business focusing on some of the best guns and scopes in the business, and Cadex is our flagship brand for long-range bolt action rifles and chassis.

So, the 50 cal chassis is a special Dual Strike chassis. Cadex makes the Dual Strike 50 for the Cadex CDX-50 receiver and also for the McMillian TAC-50 receiver. Cadex makes two magazines, one for each 50 caliber receiver; so a different magazine for the CDX-50 receiver than for the TAC-50 receiver.

Do you know if Cadex intends to release additional rear bag riders for their chassis? I'd like to see a flat bag rider and possible a slight sloping one as well. Other chassis manufacturers are including similar options.

    Thanks!

I would be interested in a 300 Norma Mag rig.

You have a lot of options. Several full rifles offered with 300 NM, or you can select a Long Action and barrel of your choosing, and a Cadex chassis to fit your action. Lots of Rem, Stiller, Surgeon, Tikka and other options.

Cadex builds both tactical and lighter competition chassis'.

Take a read through here: Cadex Online 2018 catalog It can get a little confusing, but really, there are only a few platforms:
    1. Dual and Lite Strike (tactical)
    2. Tactical
    3. Competition
    4. minimalist frame
    5. AR adaptable frame
Jeff, take a read, and let me know when you want to talk more.

I'm sorry I did'nt exactly follow your response. I have a McMillian TAC50 and I'd like to change the stock to a Cadex chassis. Does it come with any mags? Or do I have to buy additional cadex mags for my rig?

What is a the clearance in the handguard around the front of the action on the competition chassis. I was considering the long action one but do not know if it will allow me to use my Mausingfield with a Barloc. Based on the pictures it doesn't appear there is enough room.

The Cadex chassis does not come with magazines. As you probably know, Cadex does make a chassis for the TAC50 action. What I am not sure about, is whether your McMillan magazines will work in the Cadex chassis. I think they will.

If you are interested in ordering the 50 cal chassis, please PM me.

I have no experience with that receiver and the barrel connector combination. Have you asked American Rifle ? The question is how well their device and action fit into the Remington 700 footprint.

I was looking at this awhile back as well, and decided that if push came to shove, you could likely just file/Dremel a small notch in the fore end tube to allow you to get to the Barloc screw with a tool. It probably wouldn't look too bad if you took your time and did it right... I have found time and again that getting impatient with that sort of thing will get you ugly results in a hurry.

Let me know if I can help. Awesome line-up of products

Looking at purchasing a CDX300-TAC-300-24-TAN-20MOA or the CDX300-LITE-300-24-TAN-20MOA. Only difference I'm seeing is the folder and fix stock. And the folder being more then a pound heavier. Do you know what muzzle thread pattern is on these also? And can you PM pricing?
