Yes it's a thumb rest and it's not made by Cadex.

Unfortunately, it seem that we don't have pictures of the MX1 Mini in the field.

It's now on my "to-do list"

Will this take a Terminus Zeus and AW magazines?

If this action is a real Remington 700 footprint, it should fit. But not AW magazines. You need to use AI magazine.
