Cadex Tremor .50 Experiences

It really needs another 6-8lb of weight to be fun. Otherwise it's a chore trying to stay on target after pulling the trigger & becomes nerve racking to avoid scope bite. Standard brake is not my favorite. I swapped to the surefire and it seems to draw out the recoil impulse more. Standard brake is a quick hard & sharp impact. Shooting in a t-shirt was leaving yellow bruises on my shoulder. Surefire brake does not do this. Also, standard brake is LOUD for the shooter even with doubled up hearing.

I'm hanging onto mine for now because the folding stock is convenient for transport in my car. Been thinking about getting it barreled with a heavier profile to get some more pounds added on.

So I recently purchased one of these as my first .50 cal. I haven't had it out to any real distance yet but it is looking promising in the accuracy department. I put their falcon long legs bipod on it and topped it with a Nightforce ATACR 7-35 in a Sphur mount. The rifle will stack three rounds touching at 100 meters with the Hornady Amax ammo. I'm really looking foward to getting out to some distance with it this summer. Recoil is stout, and kind of sharp. I do wish the rifle weighed just a bit more to help, but it is manageable for about 10 to 15 rounds before I start anticipating the punch and my trigger control goes south. I don't find the factory brake to be obnoxious while behind the gun.

Yeah I'm not even going there. Between the Tremor, the Accuracy International AT, and thunderbeast supressor I just purchased, my wallet is screaming no more...not to even get to my wife's thoughts on the matter
