Camo Dip Kit

Re: Camo Dip Kit

Seems simple enough; I watched several videos on youtube of people doing it themselves; I ended up just sending my stock to a local place and I actually watched them do the process; all in all it seemed pretty much the same process; happy i had them do the job though; came out perfect! Good luck to you if you decide to try it yourself. I wouldn't mind trying to start on small things and work my way up to a gun stock.

Re: Camo Dip Kit

Very nice to be able to DIY this. I bet others get in this market and the price comes down. Too cool!

The company here in the Spokane area charges $299-399 for a basic AR.

Re: Camo Dip Kit

Wow! Down here in Georgia, there's a place in Atlanta that I've talked to on several occasions that will do it for a fraction of that cost. If I'm not mistaken, he quoted me 175 for an AR-Style Rifle.

From everything that I have seen, there is such a huge demand for this, it would be a great business to get into!! So many of the different companies that I have checked out are too swamped to take on any new business right now.

It wouldn't take long to get all your investment back on the equipment!!

Re: Camo Dip Kit

I think their newer version of the dip kits are worth it (they got rid of of those cumbersome aresol cans and started using more pro-grade chemicals)

Re: Camo Dip Kit

Make sure you get the right one mydipkit.com is the better one with it you do not need to mix stuff together. Don't make the same mistake i made by watching youtube vids mydipkit comes with a link to their video that helps allot. i got pretty good at it with some practice.

Re: Camo Dip Kit

Yeah I'd go with mydipkit. I looked at the camodipkit website. If you look at their "examples" of dipped items you can see the faint mydipkit watermark. They stole pictures from mydipkit!

Do You have a pic?

Don’t do it, OP.

LOTS of really bad reviews of that shady outfit.

People not getting the product they ordered, low quality junk when they do deliver.
Good luck getting a refund.

Just go with a reputable professional hydro dip outfit and save yourself the headache.
