Camp Bucca, IRAQ, 3 gun

The first ever 3 gun comp on Iraq soil was held Oct 16-17th with 75 competitors honing their skills in country. The event was put on by members of the 2/127 INF.Battalion of the Wisconsin Army National Guard and especially SSG. Zuelhsdorf who took much of his time and some of his money to make this happen. The competitors included Army, Navy, Airforce and private security contractors. The guys from 2/127 were able to get many nice prizes from many great companys. A few off the top of my head are. Glock, Larue Tactical, Vortex Optics,Olympic arms, Armalite, Millet, Kershaw, and many more.(please forgive me for leaving someone out) As a competitor I was very impressed with the way the shoot operated and how smooth it went with so many shooters new to 3-gun including myself. I am sure the seed has been planted in many new shooting enthusiast to compete in the civilian world. Hats Off!

The Wisconsin Guard has a pretty good thing going as far as marksmanship with it's Master Gunner Program provided by LTC. Brad Anderson, B.C. of the 2/127 inf. It is a train the trainer program geared on Own the Night systems and advanced marksmanship. I wish we would get our state funding back for our service rifle matches that we lost in the late 90's. We were very competitive at Perry and Little Rock.

Is SSG. Zuelhsdorf the guy holding the timer?

Is he a 19D type originally from the UP?

Yah he's holding the timer, not sure where he is origanaly from, he is zdorf23 on the hide if you want to ask him.

I did the logo work for one of the sponsors for this match (3Gun Stuff) and just wanted to drop a quick note in here to thank you guys for sending a couple of t-shirts from this match back.

Definitely one of the coolest souvenirs I've ever received from a shooting match.

Thats bad azz. Having spent a couple months there in 05 makes it cooler.
