I don't think you can go wrong with either scope, honestly. I have the Minox with the MR4 reticle, but I gave the Kahles a pretty strong look. Yes, the glass on the Minox is phenomenal and, at least to me, better than any other scope I've looked through, and that includes S&B. I've yet to see any CA, even at max mag, which is pretty remarkable on a 5-25. The MR4 reticle is perfect for me, but I was really looking at the SKMR3. The eyebox is very generous and easy to get behind. Locking diopter on the ocular is avery nice touch. Parallax is very easy to remove. There are lots of things I really love about the Minox, but there are a few things that I would change if I were GSO (German Sports Optronika).
The turrets are very good. They don't blow me away, but they're still certainly very good. Because the turrets are 14 or 15 mil per turn, the spacing between the clicks is very close. They remind me of my old Steiner M5Xi, but more positive. With more spacing, the clicks could be moire positive. The tracking is excellent so far and because you have so much elevation in every turn, I've yet to need to dial into the second rev very often. I can reach out to 1400 yards in the first turn, so the need to go into that second rev doesn't come up often.
The wording on the warranty is also very specific. Minox will warranty the scope for the original owner and must be registered within a certain time frame (30 days from purchase, if I remember correctly). While that's what they say, they've apparently provided excellent support to a second owner on an unregistered, discontinued scope. Minox replaced the scope with one from their current, updated line for free. While you can't ever complain about service like that, it would make a lot of prospective buyers feel better if that was in writing.
If you're down to those two scopes, you're really looking at two top tier scopes. If you can get some time behind each, you might be able to decide which you prefer.
