S&W model 610 unfluted cylinder,
S&W model 310 nightguard, and
a Glock 29. Thats it so far, hopefully I will have more 10mm
weapons in the future.

I'm jealous of your S&W's. I wish they would make another run of 10mm revolvers!

Not at all. I just picked one up last week and shot it for the first time today. Not much more recoil than 45acp with the 10mm target loads, the silver tip hollow points were a little snappier.

Re: can i see your 10mm's

I'd also really like one of those 10mm revolvers...very pricey though.

Nice pistols guys! I've just got a G20 and 29. Had a witness, but didn't much care for it.

Re: can i see your 10mm's

turbo54, the smith's 610 revolvers are amazingly accurate, those three shoot anything from 135gr to 180gr 40SW to max 10MM load in tight little clusters up to 75 yds, clay birds sitting on the berm at 150yds are not safe with hot 40SW or 10MM. I do shoot the 5 incher the most with subsonic 40 cal 180 grainers, it is a very soft shooter and a tack driver.
cheers.

Re: can i see your 10mm's

Here is one of them. Officers frame, Commander length slide, full power loads will get your attention, but deffinately controlable with practice.

Here are a few of mine -

S&W 1013 & G29. You won't find many 1013.

There are a few other not shown also. You can say I am a bit of a 100 junkie. :0

Re: can i see your 10mm's

Thanks PBinWA,

The g29 is pretty manageable, not much different than a 45. My 310 nightguard is the hardest hitting in terms of recoil.

Smith 10mm revolvers sure are accurate though. It is no problem to hit a paper plate or a paint can at 100 yds with the 610.

There sure are some nice pistols on this thread.

Does the Glock function reliably with the can? If so, whose can?

Osprey.

A few of mine:

Built circa 2004, a Vic Tibbets custom DE

My two Glocks, 20 & 29: the frames on both had Bowie Tactical grip reduction work, while the barrels, slides & slide internals were NP3-ed by Robar. Bowie and Robar did great work. Both are hot and both rock:

Original 1st Gen S&W 610 revolver, very early production run. also a tack driver:

The osprey is the only can I know of thats rated for .45ACP but warrantied for 10mm also. Silencerco makes some bitching stuff. Thank god there only 10 minutes away from me.

Re: can i see your 10mm's

Funny that I was so focused on SilencerCo's Sparrow (light, rated for all the rim fires, and easy to clean—all clinched the sale) that I didn't notice their Osprey until I saw your pics.

Re: can i see your 10mm's

I have a glock20 and a witness in 10mm. Since I was a kid and the local gun nut had one and let me shoot it after he told me all about the power compared to other cases I have since been a big fan. The witness is accurate and pretty dependable but has jammed once or twice. The glock has yet to jam and is pretty accurate it self. Love the 10mm

Wow a squeeze cocker. Long time since I have seen one of those. Where did you find that?

That cheap privi 180jhp shot like shit, and the brass is sucking to reload.

Re: can i see your 10mm's

Yep, the Priv is watered-down crapola. Even the brass is of questionable quality.

I reload also and came up with a practice/training load, using AA7, that's highly accurate and runs 90% of max velocity with 200gn Hornady FMJs.

Skip the Priv. If they were selling a 180gn @ 1250fps+ or a 200gn load @ 1180fps for the same price, then it might be worth a look.

I did the work on the pistol.

It was a full rebuild of a Colt Custom Shop Delta Elite for Dave Bahde.

Ramped Schuemann barrel, new internals; hammer, sear, dissconnector, trigger, grip safety, thumb safety, slide stop, one piece magwell, Cerakote Graphite Black, custom ivory grips, etc.

This pistol will be featured in an upcoming article in Combat Handguns.
