Can I use 6.5 284norma seating die to load other 6.5s

Hey guys, I purchased RCBS Gold Match series 6.5 284 norma Bushing 2 die set at rather cheap price(https://palmettostatearmory.com/reloading/reloading-dies.html?p=6), they`re selling some "rare" caliber dies for crazy cheap price!
I was just thinking about if I can use that die set to seat bullet for 6.5CM or 6.5 Lapua? I thought bullet sizes are same and the seating die won`t actually touch the brass? Please correct me if I`m wrong, new to reloading. If it`s not working...I`ll just sell it, and make some money maybe? LOL

It more than likely will not work for other cartridges. Although a seating die does not size the brass like a FL die does, the inside dimensions of the die do match those of the case. This helps support the case while seating the bullet.

I've used other seating dies before successfully. You just have to try it. You can often do this by hand just to see.

There is really nothing really fully supported in a seating die, esp the neck. Try it, if you have the tools, you can check concentricity of necks before and after.

I neck sized and seated a lot 30-06 with 308 dies before I finally bought the proper dies.

I have used my 260 seating dies to load 6.5 Creed. Though the 6.5-284 has a larger case diameter than most other 6.5's, the die isnt going to capture the bullet perfectly center every time, so I would imagine the runout would increase slightly using a 6.5-284 die to load, say, a 260.
