So the rocket surgeon gets his new bolt handle from Glades Armory in the mail today. Promptly runs out to the garage, and takes the bolt out of the rifle, and then takes it apart. The smart guy, then puts the new bolt handle on and puts the firing pin back in. Depresses the firing pin assembly, and drops in the safety, (Just the reverse of taking it apart right). Well somewhere along the line I must have spun the bolt upside down, or something, and when I tried to put in back in the rifle, it won't fit as the handle is in the "UP" position, and hitting the scope before I even get close to the reciever.

Simple take it apart and adjust. However I can't get the safety out of the bolt anymore. Also the bolt handle does not spin on the bolt to rotate out of the way like it did before. What did I do, and how do I fix it!!!!!!

Thanks.

Recently disassembled my CZ 455 bolt for the first time. The safety was a bit bulky when I went to pull it out. Just pushed down on the striker spring support a bit more and was able to get it out.
Might see if a friend can help out by pushing down on the striker spring support while you use pliers (with soft tips) to remove the safety

Got it figured out. I did assemble it correctly, but it was really stiff, and a little persuasion with a punch to slide the FP assembly backwards, I was able to rotate bolt handle to the low position, and now it works fine. Just a polishing is all that it appears to needed.
