Can the Vudoo V22M action run 22LR with RimX mags?

Title says it all basically, interested in the longer cartridge design for magnum rounds would allow someone to run RimX mags in a 22LR config in this action.

ETA: Not currently concerned about rim diameters or anything like that.

Vudoo is control round fed. I believe the way RimX chambers the round is unique to their bolt design.

With the "built in feed ramp" I think you'll run into issues with the Vudoo bolt dragging on it IF you were able to physically insert the magazine even with their adjustable mag height.

Yes, RimX breech is a coned design without the "hook" style extractors. However, that's independent of the mag design. Both RimX and Vudoo are CRF, the main design differences are how the extractor works, the breech design, and the location of the round pickup from the mag.

Good to think about, thanks. Perhaps the front lip of the mag would need to be lowered.

Vudoo bolt throw is too short

you would have to extend the throw and move the fixed ejector back as well

many of us have thought of it, it’s a lot of work

probably easier to do the extractor mod on a rimx

Isn't the magnum bolt throw going to be longer?
