I actually like the Larue rail. I’m still going to put the proper rail on this eventually, but the Larue is a nice placeholder in the mean time.

Bastardized slightly with the lowpro gas block. Had to cut one screw short on the top rail to clear the block. Really liking the look, first mk12-esque build. PRI fde thankfully resembles Noveske fde enough. The OSS clears just enough under the hand guard. Question to anyone running these hand guards: do you think the heat from the suppressor being so close will be detrimental to the carbon?

Mine is slowly getting there. I did just take off the peq 2, and I'll be swapping the ACE out for a B5 here in the next couple days. I'll stick the ACE in the parts bin because in a few weeks I'm sure I'll want to switch it back haha!

I think the ACE is what really sets the mod H apart for me. I had a mod 1 before i had the can. And the imbalance for how front heavy that gun was made it more of a hindrance and tendency to only shoot in the prone. However considering the weight of the ACE it really balances the system IMO even with the can.

I feel that. I played around with the lower off of my go-to 14.5" and it felt okay, but different.


Disregard the x300 up top, I needed a quick light solution.

Going to finally get my 2nd “ mk12” inspired build together. I really think of it as like a mk12 block ii

Bcm complete lower with geissele ssa-ex
Bcm upper w/ BCM bolt carrier
Geissele ACH
CLE mk12 dougless 1:8 cle chamber with matched bolt
Daniel defense RIS ii
Centurion arms mk12 gas block and mk12 collar and brake.
OCM5 and razor 1-10

Too bad that doof larue raised the prices of his rails to 400$ each

Reinstalled and zeroed the PEQ. Boy does it make me feel "off" to have the SiCo FH and vortex rings on it. Oh well, they're working great for now while I work on the real deal.

Its good that "the torch" was passed on and the mk12 cans will continue to be manufactured. Old ass technology but still quieter that almost all 223 cans of today .

Glad , even though there was a wait, I got two of Ron's cans.
