Can you suggest a trigger? AR15

I recently finished my varmint project which consists of:
S&W M&P15 Stripped Lower
DPMS LPK
A2 Mil-Spec Stock set
Bushmaster Predator 20" Upper
Scope and Rings

I only test-fired one time to verify function and have not been to the range yet with it so I cannot attest to the accuracy.
My question is - can you recommend a trigger for it as the break on the current trigger is fairly heavy. I have a bushmaster 2-stage in another black rifle that I could use but is that enough?

Re: Can you suggest a trigger? AR15

While a good trigger certainly can make it easier to be more accurate,a lot of it has to do with "feel" for the shooter.Do you prefer a single or two stage? I agree that most stock AR mil triggers suck and that the best upgrade most times is a trigger. There are many out there that will get the job done...JP, JARD, Geiselle, even Bushmaster.Geiselle seems to be highly thought of, and I admit to having them in 4 AR's.One nice feature about them is that he makes a drop-in, no adjustment 2 stage that has to be felt to be appreciated, though it ain't cheap.

Re: Can you suggest a trigger? AR15

anyone use the CMC triggers? CMCtriggers.com
Seem to be in the same price range as the others mentioned
how do they stack up? anyone have any experience with them

Funny, i'd run that the other way around....wither will kick ass but I prefer the Geissele Match.

I'd say RRA NM if the buyer is a novice or wants to go cheap.

Re: Can you suggest a trigger? AR15

If you can find an RRA NM trigger for a good price (under $100) that's probably the cheapest most improved over stock. If you keep an eye out you can usually find them in the $80 range and that's a great trigger for $80-90. Probably similar to the bushmaster 2 stage you have now.

That said the Geissele SSA is amazing for $160. I'm sure if you want to spend more money there are a lot of great options with more adjustments and such but the SSA is a great drop in 2 stage for only $40 more than what the RRA NM retails for. That and I like the fact I don't have to mess with any adjustments, it rocks right out of the box.

Cant go wrong with a Rock River 2-stage, for $120 you cant beat it. I have 2 of 'em on 2 different builds and love em. I also have a Timney single stage, a good single stage trigger.

If you want the best, get Geissele.

I would second this.
While at the Shot Show, I went by the Geissele booth and they had most of their triggers on display in fixtures so they could be tried. To tell you the truth I was very disappointed, from all the hoop-la I was expecting a decent trigger. They would have been better off not letting you feel and test them.
I have at least 7 JP triggers and have installed many more, the one on my comp rifle has over 20,000 rounds on it. I'll admit to being partial to single stage triggers, but I can shoot a good two stage with no problem, didn't find that to be the case with the Geissele.

JP triggers I am sure go great in a plinker or range toy, but if you want the real deal hard use trigger that USSOCOM uses than you want a GA trigger. The SSF and SSA triggers have received the Crane NSWC Safety Certification.

this is your arguement?

i have 20k plus rounds through geissele, and JP....its not even close...JP all the way..

go back to call of duty, and worshipping a crane cert...the same people who gave us a boatload of shitty unreliably m14's..

Did you read that in last months issue of Guns and Triggers for Super Badass Airsoft Forum Monkeys?

Make sure you call Kyle Lamb up and tell him his trigger is only for range toys.

For being pretty new to the game the Geissele Triggers seem to be pretty good. I am playing with one right now and it seems fine, time will tell. But to badmouth the JP without knowing any of its history or its track record is simply moronic and stupid.

While you may like the Geissele you clearly know jack and shit about AR triggers.
