Young family going through a real tough time. I was thinking of putting a pile of ammo on the benefit auction. Do you guys think this would be a hit? I thought with today's market it might draw excitement. Any other cool items that you've seen at things like these that were popular items?

It would depend on WHO would be attending the auction. Ammo would be great if 2 people wanted ammo. What are the attendees demographics?

Rural outdoors people, I'd think there would be enough people that need some and know you can't find it. Primers/powder maybe, but that's an even smaller market of interested people.

It may worth while too just to contact local outdoor shops, Mayr Bass Pro as well. Present them with documentation of the event and see if they can make a donation towards the auction.

Homemade pies! I’ve been known to give a hundred dollars for a damn good pie at a benefit!
