I know if i went out and purchased one of the new Toyotas with the stuck gas pedal, drove it a few days and almost wrecked because the pedal stuck, and when i went to the dealer they offered me a new vehicle, i would surely take the new one, but would not be buying any other new vehicles from them unless they compensated me (as in discount/free upgrades/etc) that i felt my time had NOT been wasted. I personally have not had any problems w/any Vortex i have owned so far, but if my 2k scopes reticle came loose, i would have it replaced and be done with the brand. Just a thought... </div></div>
I would ask you to name one manufacturer that has not had a failure (Counter Sniper excluded and humor intended).
I have said this before and I will say it again. We are all human and as such we will all make mistakes. The mark of the man is how we deal with those mistakes. If a reticle had a problem the problem has been solved. A zero stop had an issue and amends were made. S & B, Nightforce, US Optics, etc they have developed a following for these very issues that they turn into opportunities.
If not this brand then I would ask what brand you would go with that will not fail?
