Cap to change scope battery is pretty stuck

I have an older Nightforce on which I want to inspect the battery. It's on the left side, parallax cap, per usual.
Well, it sure is stuck.
I do not want to do anything too drastic to try and loosen it. I'm definitely paranoid on this.
Any tips ????

Nope. Call the company is my only idea.
