Carbon fiber barrels with suppressors …

I’ve not experienced a noticeable difference between cf and stainless. Always SOME shift for me but repeatable. That seems to be more dependent on the mounting method and suppressor rather than the barrel itself. I would add that all of my cf barrels were shorter AR barrels, the longest being 18”, but again a quality cf barrel should have no noticeable impact vs a quality SS barrel.

Just considering a cf barrel and wanted to ask before buying
If you’re not interested in saving weight, while adding rigidity for a suppressor get carbon. If you don’t care as much about weight save the money and stick with steel. As far as carbon barrels are concerned today don’t hesitate or second guess them though.

They’re accurate and cool
