What companies make competition quality carbon fiber wrapped barrels?

"Supposably" (to quote Joey) CF wrapped barrels are not only the stiffest but they don't have barrel heat mirage
problems to the extent all steel barrels do.

I have a carbon wrapped barrel on a hunting rig (its ABS/Rock which was bought out by Proof, same technology) and I love the barrel, it shoots great.

However, I disagree with the statement about heat mirage. Mirage gets just as bad as a steel barrel on long strings, at least mine does.

im kicking around the idea of a .300 wsm custom lightweight rifle with titanium action and carbon barrel and carbon stock... but not sure if i can get away with running it supressed...?

Whether you order just the barrel or have Proof do the build just specify that you will be running it suppressed. I have a Proof Carbon wrapped Bartlein 6.5CM that shoots amazing with AAC SDN-6, switching to TBAC 30-BA for all my LR rigs though.

Kifaru Arms might be able to build one. I know they've built some in various calibers recently.
