Cartridge case comparison
Was doing some early Spring cleaning and decided to polish up my ELR brass collection…and took pics of it.
Smaller stuff (left to right):
.338 Allen Xpress +P (Allen’s 338 LM Imp+, 3244 fps w/ 300 gr. Berger OTMs from a 36”, 1:8.5 twist barrel, 8 ES, consistently – do not recall the exact load, thinking 113-114 gr RL33)
.338 Big Baer – comparo only (CT parent)
.400/.416 Barrett Imp – built but went a different way
.416 Barrett – comparo only
.400/.50 Imp – built but went another way (shown with a custom 480 gr CEB)
.400/.50 Imp – fire formed
