Case Mouth Dents

question for those who use bushing sizing dies, how do you deal with case mouth dents from brass hitting hard ground? do you run your cases through a mandrel? or just load and let the bullet iron it out? it might scratch up the bullet but doesnt it get scratched up from the throat erosion anyway?

Just run them through a mandrel or use the expander ball on the die.

Size 3 under, mandrel to 2 under...maybe 1.5.

I just use the bullet I am seating.

Mandrel is the way to go. It also gives more consistent neck tension. Kinda sizing from the inside the neck if you will. Adds another step, but worth it.
Some of us believe the expander ball pulls the shoulder out a little when it pulls back out.
