I worked up a 5.56 load using FGMM 205M primers. These primers are extinct at least as far as I can tell since around 2008.
So being that CCI #41's are purpose bbuilt for 5.56 and available I gave them a shot. I loaded up a handful to test before I started loading to the old recipe. They shot horrible, it went from a 1 MOA load to 4 MOA load. No pressure signs or function problems.
Obviously I need to work up a new load, are these primers known for having accuracy difficulties?
I understand they are rated at a magnum level which I suspect pushed me out of my accuracy node.
