CDI TIKKA bottom metal and manners stock question possible problem

I just got home and both manners and CDI are closed and was hoping to get some input before I call tomorrow. I assumed, my fault, that the cdi bottom metal would fit in the manners stocks since the cdi was a direct drop in for the factory tikka stock. However the bottom metal isn't close to fitting my manners stock that just came in today. Anyone have any experience with this combo?

Pretty sure the CDI is not a direct drop in and needs inletting.

I believe you need to tell them that you are using the CDI bottom metal so they could inlet.

My CDI short action was a direct drop in, perfect fit. Do you have the long action CDI or short action? Long action requires a bit extra milled out. I have a CDI LA DBM as well an just took to the stock with a dremel.
