Jews and Christians have considered the rainbow to be a physical manifestation of God’s promise not to destroy the world again for thousands of years. To have such a deeply significant symbol cooped by people who take “pride” in their sins is doubly troubling.
I do not like the rainbow flag. To me it’s very insulting.

I hope they're hiring for a new director in the very near future. What a fucking insult to every veteran going there for care, to see their service's flag replaced by any alternative, is a disgrace.

I don't care about gays, never had one hurt or offend me in my entire life. I do care about veterans, and so should the VA.

If this hospital were under Sec Def this will be handled in short order . Pride day , fine . There is no reason to take down the symbol of this Country and all it represents to defer to any group . You are a gay American , you are a Muslim American , You are a Somali American , you are a Native American , American of African deacent , Italian descent , etc . All Americans . Disrespecting anything does not forward anything . Be no greater , no less , one of a part of and one with . If this Country needs to fall or fail for you to be accepted you will never be accepted anywhere . If you accept yourself and contribute you are apart of .

"We are aware of concerns voiced by some of our employees and Veterans about the Service Flags removed outside of the Fort Wayne campus. As we are committed to serving all Veterans and June is LGBT awareness month, we are flying the flag that represents and honors these Veterans as a display of solidarity and respect for their service.

We all serve this nation.

Due to limitations in the number of flag poles outside our VA, the Service Flags were lowered temporarily. Rather than take one flag down temporarily, it was determined to lower all the flags so as to be equal. The one flag will fly for the day until 5 p.m. and signify that we treat all our Veterans equally. We greatly appreciate our Veterans' and employees' passion and loyalty for their individual services.

Today, we honor our LGBT Veterans and their service."

The last NFL game I watched was the rainbow themed superbowl 50. Seeing that gay inspired rainbow puke fest I told myself I would never watch another NFL game.
