Have been cerakoting for the last year and just finally finished up a dedicated booth to start doing it full time. Really want to mitigate any and all dust particles if possible. 20sq/ft pvc booth wrapped in 2 mil plastic. Have a filter in the door wall, and a fan on the opposite blowing outside of a window. I’m still seeing a small amount of dust and would like Anyones opinions who have experience with paint booths. Thanks in advance

The pics show it unfinished but the door is also wrapped, and there is a fan sealed up to the window

I have used one of these for twenty years for a woodworking. They have other options as far as size.

Spend good money on a good/great respirator. Maybe get one that brings in filtered air remotely. Cerakote is some nasty shit to breathe. For the most part, I've stopped doing it for that reason. We all gotta die someday, I don't want it to be because I was breathing Cerakote.

Right now I’m using a 3m respirator. Intrigued about one that brings in filtered air. Which one Is that?

I use one of these in my finishing room. I let it run for about an hour before I start finishing.

I also go in with dusting wipes and wipe down surfaces.
Oh that’s very interesting. Do you just place it on the floor and run it? Even while coating?

I bring filtered fresh air in the top of my wall then exhaust it out the opposite wall on the bottom so it pulls the fumes and overspray down and away from my work.. 1 input fan and 1 exhaust fan…. i set exhaust fan on high and input fan on low seems to work very well for me

That does sound like a good setup. Would you mind maybe taking some pics when you get the chance? My setup with the fan and filter isn’t pulling much out
