In my never ending quest for ANY powder to load pistol, I scored some of the above.

The factory data shows the starting load to be >1000fps which is way faster than I need to push a 200 Gr LSWC. Anyone have any experience working up 45 ACP loads with this stuff?

I just want to make power with my plain old LSWC, not set the world on fire.

Never mind. Due to a screw-up either on my part or Mid-South Shooters part, only one of the four pounds I ordered showed up at a cost of $60 including their ticky-tacky "small order" handling charge, Hazmat, and shipping.

I told FedEx to send it back and reversed the charge with my CC issuer. To their credit, they got back to me and offered to discount some of the charges, but it was too late. FedEx had come and gone.

Bullshit! Back to the never ending search for pistol powder.

$60 bucks was steep. I would have sent it back too. I mean who would order 1lb and pay the stupid hazmat anyway? To mail order, you just have to buy quantity.

I use WST with 200gr SWC or flat point with excellent results. Is a shotgun powder and generally available in this part of Tx. 4.8gr should make a bit over major, without working gun too hard. Only load I use.
