NOMAD: Thanks for the pictures.....so it appears that loggerhead cheek piece is exactly what I would get if I ordered the T4A stock.

Congrats on your new T4A....I am jealous.

I assume that is the Manners molded in finish? It looks great. How long did you have to wait?

Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks

I have a T4A on each bolt gun. Love those stocks! The moulded camo ones had a long wait, because the equipment just came on line recently. The one in the top pics took a few months, but they are worth the wait to get exactly what you want. Mine have the Surgeon bottom metal, just a personal preference, I like their mag release button. The top one we just Cerakoted the action in Desert Sand with oven bake Cerakote here in Vegas, it looks pretty good with the Manners moulded factory camo pattern. If you give Manners a shout they will have a good idea on current lead times. The bottom picture was originally black and is was Cerakoted "Storm Flague" by Todd at Phantom Finishing in CA.

Tom

Quick question for you. I just noticed on your website that you are no longer offering GAP camo. I swear when I was surfing your website last week, that it was still being shown. My gunsmith placed an order for a MCS-T3 in GAP Desert Camo for me last week, but he did not mention that the GAP camo wasnt available. I want to make sure that what he ordered will be in GAP Desert Camo. Ive had my eye on this stock and color scheme for the past 3 months and im set on it for my current 6.5x47 build. I dont want to have to switch to a different stock because of the new change. Please let me know what to expect. If you need my gunsmiths name and contact info to check out the order just send me a PM and ill get it to you. Thank you.

Thats Great News Tom. I honestly don't see how your customer service could ever be better than it is. You have an awesome team.
Already have two T5A's and one on the way....Thanks for Everything.

Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks

Glad to see the move is going well. I am a hometown NKC guy who moved a little south of you. I am currently waiting on build # 7499. This is my first high dollar upgrade to my used to be budget Savage build. I wish being so close, that I could have seen or handled a Manners stock. I ordered just by reputation only. I am sure that I would be pleased with all the positive feedback. Hope to have in my hands by Fathers Day. My lonely CDI Precision bottom metal could not make it in my current stock. At least I am able to shoot my baby as it is for the mean time. Do you by chance have a show room? I would love to drop by and see. Thanks for taking the time to give me a truly custom rifle.

Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks

I got to visit today and a very pleased with the courtesy given to me by all the staff minus the great dane wagging it's tail right in the nuts. Got a real quick tour of the facility. They showed me each step of the process. I now have a better understanding of why it takes so long. They won't let it leave until it is perfect. Thank you Manners staff. Buy with confidence because they build with confidence.

Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks

Got my T5A on Friday. Awesome build. Had a question on the color, and the guys were quick to answer and were more than helpful. I will definately buy another stock from them in the future.

Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks

I got home today and found it sitting at my front door. It is everything I wanted and more. Everything dropped right in. The threaded Savage rear trigger screw was an unexpected touch. Thanks Manners.

Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks

I ordered my first Manners back in 08 and when it was finished I was in the process of transferring and had no address. Tom invited me for a tour of his facility and said he'd have no problem holding onto the stock until I got an address. That sold me on his stocks and am currently waiting on my 4th stock build #6618 and was hoping I could get an update on it, it has now been over 7 months. I am hoping it didn't fall through the cracks and thanks for the help.
