How difficult is it to change a bbl. on a B-14 ? Got a chance to pick up a NIB Left Hand HMR, BUT, don't want another 308, and don't need / want another Cal. [ 6.5CM ] in my house.
I couldn't find and "prefits" for the HMR so to get a 6 CM or a 6 GT ??

It should come unscrewed with enough force. Barrel vice, action wrench and muscle or pay a smith about $80. I’m not sure of the threads on your action but they’re probably metric and not the same as the Remington. A smith can thread you up a couple and maybe do you a barrel nut like a remage. Let us know

I’m not aware of anyone doing prefits for these. I hope I’m wrong though. I’ve read the coned bolt face will make prefits a tough thing for people to offer.

I’d call PVA and ask them. They do more prefits than anyone I’m aware of, so they’ll probably have a good answer.

PVA is doing barrels for these. There’s also a thread on this if you search. Bergara was doing the work for $500 at one time which is a good deal. I’d heard they stopped last year to catch up with sales but they may be back at it. Any competent gunmaker can handle it.
That being said with the popularity of this gun. I would imagine someone will start selling prefits before long.

I am interested in this as well, I may have missed it but I didn't see it on the website.
