Charging handle toss up

The first time I lost the O-ring. Luckily SiCo gives you an extra O-ring in the package so I added blue grease (marine grade grease? that I had laying around). Worked better, than it after few hundred suppressed rounds it started coming loose again. So now I just check it all the time.
If I see a guy at the range spitting on his CH every so often Ill know who it is 😁

They have a lot of charging handles.

What is different with the “welded” one ?

Think there’s a reason to buy the welded ones versus the much cheaper mim?
Doubt it. It’s not like the latch is a pressure bearing item. And, it doesn’t even need a super special geometry to work.

If it is cheaper, yeah. If it is required for a “clone” of something, yeah. Otherwise, MIM is mostly unfairly maligned, in my opinion.

But, I’m a nobody on the internet. Take that opinion for what you paid for it.

In my search for a durable charging handle I figured the DS arms steel charging handle would be a good fit. I soon came to the conclusion they werent so easy to obtain.

I began searching for a durable aluminum charging handle that might as well have gas divergence built in to the design.

My toss up at the moment is:

The pri gasbuster m84 (non Ambi) has a great reputation.

Original BCM gunfighter mod 4 made now by Vltor.

I do like how the LWRC CH has its oversized steel rivets and steel latching mechanism.

The raptor has dominated the markets lately but I would like to get members take on their current goto.
I have 4 Radians and 2 Daniel Defense and I like them both. I think the DD are stronger. The first DD ch I bought is on my AR10. They’re very well built. The second one is going on my new precision 556 gun.
