Ok Ok!!! I’m ready for all the savage bashing but was hoping for the experts here to answer a question.
Is there a chassis out there that will fit the Savage model 12 Long Range Precision Varmint rifle? This is for a 223. This is the single shot Right hand bolt, Left hand port one inch bull barrel beast.
I’m not worried about there being a magwell not being used on the chassis but I thought these had a different stock screw spacing. Anyone???

Pretty sure MDT? Makes one?

It’s been a while but I thought the 3 screw had similar spacing for 2 of the screws and the third was added for more stability so they should work in a chassis/stock just minus the third screw being used. I could be wrong though. I had one briefly with a 7 twist on it and it shot bugholes with cheap Walmart 55gr federal fmj.

Rather than re-type everything, I'm just going to drop these two links:

...which are literally the first two results for a simple Google search for "Savage action hole spacing".

Some time back, I bought a LRPV stock to try with my factory F/TR, that was a 3.44 bolt face stock. The LRPV action is also, I believe, using the large shank.

I was disappointed when the other action manufacturers that chose to use a Savage thread settled on the small shank. That made my store of large shank barrels, er, Savage action only, damnit!
