I'm def. not used to shooting a Bolt Gun using a Picatinny rail, and low rings. Midway forgot to send me my low rings, and I have a set of lows on the 5R, and my cheek weld still seems a lil high. The other rail I bought for my 243SPS is a Steel Brownells, a bit thicker than the Warne 20moa I'm using on the 5R. Does anyone make a decent cheek rest without having to use the screw on ones, like some of the HSP come factory? I was thinking a slip on, and I shoot lefty, so I could just rev. it. Link anyone? Thanks guys. I have a New set of Talleys, and PRI, and love them, but looks like they will have to go on an AR build.

I used a neoprene mouse pad cut into strips, glued down with rubber cement. It is a little ghetto, but works great! And if I ever decide to take it off, clean-up will be easy.

I use stock packs from Triad tactical. They allow you adjustment via Velcro strips stacked up inside the pack. The nice thing is the pack looks good on the rifle and it provides you with a little storage too.
