WTF are you talking about. American beers probably win more international comps that any other nation.
Sam Adams craft beers are renowed for a long record of awards.

Shit, those don't even count as beer. The only light I'll consider drinking is Shiner Light. This time of year I usually drink Sol or Pacifico.

For my next thread topic: What beer is the most tactical?
And to everyone else: Holy sheet. I didn't say these were the best beers. I didn't say that these are all I drink, or even imply that these are all I can afford (good try though, KSwift). I defined a scope and set a ranking.

So you're saying cheap, light, domestic beer is the stuff? Beg to differ.
"RateBeer Best was again the largest beer competition in the world -- more than 140,000 beers from over 12,000 brewers worldwide were tallied. "
Looking at this list, USA is the single most winning country by far in the 2012 comp. </div></div>
Michigan was pretty well represented. I enjoy a Bell's Oberon on a hot summer's day. It's a wheat beer with citrus notes. Kunnuns (sp) did some serious winning at this contest. That joint is about 15 mins. from me. A dude could get into real trouble in that place.

So what you're saying is that ALL of those beers in the international comps are "Cheap" and "Light"? Because the poster used ALL THREE not just "Domestic".
