I have been have pressure isssues with my 700 in 260 doesn't seem like it wants more than 41 grains of 4350 with 40 grain bullet. I original checked the headspace with the firing pin in and the bolt would not close what so ever with no go guage. Today I checked it with firing pin out and the guage seated in the extractor and it closed easily so my question is firing pin in or out.

Always check HS with bolt stripped. Extractors and ejectors can add to false readings, resulting in excess HS, if you are cutting a chamber.

Now that you know the headspace appears to be OK :

"Today I checked it with firing pin out and the guage seated in the extractor and it closed easily so my question is firing pin in or out. "

You need to look a bit further/deeper and see what else may be amiss. You may have a bit of trash behind the ejector and that may be part of your hard close/open bolt.

Can you post a couple pics of the brass with the pressure signs?

41 grains of 4350 with a 40 grain bullet? This just doesn't seem right to me, what kind of bullets are they? Or did you mean to say 140grain bullet?

40 grain in a 1:8 twist. You might not be spinning them fast enough lol.
I just orderd 2 of these barrel are you happy over all with them. Pics?

I dont know yet I have not got it to shoot well but maybe headspace was the issue I have 6 different kinds of bullets Im going to try in it all 140 class with r17 and 4350 I hope it shoots better. I ve heard good things about the barrels Im thinking I head a headspace issue
