No sir. Likely nothing that I will pursue.
I think it could easily be done but do not think it fits my model of what the stock was designed for.
The stock, bottom metal and all peripherals was designed as a "working gun's" stock. Adjustable for different body builds but otherwise minimal snag points and overbuilt hardware.
Fully adjustable butt plate systems are cute until the very moment they are adjusted out of the neutral position. Immediately, you get ledges, edges and snag points that will hang on everything from your clothes, your pack or anything static you are trying to maneuver past or through.
When moved out of neutral position, they also immediately present sharp edges. I have seen nice cuts and bloody kit, including my own from them on multiple occasions.
Finally, they are heavy! A three way axis design is a good bit of mass and weight if you intend to make it rigid, reliable and not prone to loss of adjustment. The better ones like the McMillan and Tubb are prolly 2 pounds just for the hardware.
I know it is nice to get the shoulder perfect but in a competition or operational call out where you sometimes have seconds to figure out your shooting position and engage, I want to keep the design basic but very usable.
Thanks for asking though. I appreciate your critique and feedback.
Be safe,
Terry
