Recently picked up a rem 700 AAC-SD and will be running a ADM QD mount that puts my scope up a fair amount higher then the factory stock will allow me to get comfortable with. I'm a newb and want to stick with a budget of about $50-$60 since its just temporary until I get a new stock.

Take a look or do a search for KARSTEN cheek risers. I may have mispelled it but a search should come up. In your price range and easy to install.

We put the cheek rest that XLR Industries sells on both of our HS Precision stocks and really like how compact and simple it is. Well made of aluminium with a soft pad bonded to the upper section and very reasonably priced at $25.00.

Our HS Stocks are hollow so I made a insert threaded on both sides to fit inside the stock and allows the cheekrest bolts to tighten up and not press in on the stock.
